The lake at Tsokar is the breeding ground for Brahmini Ducks, black cranes, bar headed geese and many smaller birds, also see the whistling marmots basking in the sun and diving into their burrows at your approach.

From Tsokar you cross the Tanglangla pass at 5292 mts, making it one of the highest motorable passes. At each juncture of this journey the terrain changes and you find more and more awe in the amazing landscapes that you drive through.
